Let me set the scene. It was third grade…Valentine’s Day. There is no doubt in my mind that this was the day that began my chain of events. I’ll never be able to forget the day when the “heart throb” of my third grade class dumped his “girlfriend” and asked me to be his valentine. I look back and…
This week has been CRAZY! With Mother’s day and one of my dearest friends graduating from Vanderbilt University tomorrow, I haven’t had time to breathe hahaha! I have a personal victory and it comes in the form of a picture… I found this amazingly cute dress for graduation tomorrow and I never did I imagine that I could squeeze my fat ass into it but I tried it on anyway and guess what?!?!? It fit like a glove, I love it! I am so freaking happy I could do cartwheels LOL I know I haven’t been updating for a while but I still have been living the life!!!!! I am going to post a pic of my amazing dress (while it’s still casual, I never imagined that I would look good in a dress like this) but bear with me, it’s a little blurry! hahahah I will post pics of me in it tomorrow!

I woke up this morning with a sense of pride and relief. I am proud to be an American and I continue to send my thoughts to our troops and congratulate them for their efforts and ultimate success in the defeat of a real evil. The war on terror is not over, however today I stand proud of my country and my country men! We must remain humble and remember the pain that was experienced on 9/11 but today demonstrates that we will not quit!
